For six years, Operatives operated the way most ERP service firms operate: a remote bench of senior engineers, hourly contracts, ticket-based delivery. We were good at it. We delivered for FMCG and manufacturing enterprises across Egypt, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, and Sudan. We saved our clients money by replacing costly, underperforming service contracts with on-demand senior expertise that delivered more in less time.
But the model has a ceiling. Maintaining quality and managing capacity gets harder with every new client we onboard. And ERP itself has stopped being a static platform: every business buyer now needs not just a working Oracle EBS, but an Oracle EBS that surfaces decisions, automates workflows, and answers questions in natural language.
In 2024, we co-founded AI MicroMind to build the AI platform we wanted our clients to have. In 2026, we rebuilt Operatives around it.
